Shore Thing Excavation & Landscaping was established in 2013, after its founder (David Josey) decided to put his knowledge and experience to the test by starting his own company. David spent many years as a landscape foreman and equipment operator prior to becoming an entrepreneur.

The team at Shore Thing take great pride in their small town roots—the company was founded in Spry Harbour (Eastern Shore). Their trustworthy, relationship-focused approach has kept the company growing consistently over the past 10+ years.

The company quickly evolved from general excavation work to include landscaping, hardscaping, and outdoor living spaces—this meant bringing a highly reputable landscape designer on staff.
